AlgMax develops, commercialises and markets technologies for the production of biomass from algae grown in closed systems.
Contrary to other algae technologies, such as open ponds or expensive photo-bioreactors, this innovative technology using closed systems, requires much less light and agricultural land to grow the algae.
Algae biomass can play an important role in solving the problem between the production of food and that of biofuels. Algae rapidly build up biomass, that can be used for the production of both foodstuff (e.g. feed for farm animals) and biofuels.
